In 1979, John and Harry Mariani, owners of the U.S. importer, Banfi Vintners, acquired a mid-18th century winery, known as Bruzzone, revitalized it and renamed the facility Vigne Regali. With the same detailed care as a century ago, their skilled winemakers produced "Rosa Regale" Brachetto d'Acqui D.O.C.G. The rare Brachetto, a semi-dry, red sparkling wine cherished by the Courts of Europe two centuries ago, owes its reincarnation to Banfi. We have combined this premier sparkling wine with Ghirardelli gourmet chocolate with caramel, Ghirardelli milk chocolate drops, gourmet chocolate fondue, cocoa tea biscuits, chocolate covered potato chips, Decadent Dippers gourmet pretzels, white chocolate macadamia cookies, chocolate pastry puffs, a Swiss cake roll, and a Jacquard cloth napkin that lines the gold wire basket.
